Realize that the stock header is a double wall pipe and the ID is much less than it appears. However if you want a full size pipe with baffle, try Highway Hawk. I got one from the information posted about 6 weeks ago here. It is much noiser in many ways, there is more sound of the exhaust in the head pipe, the double wall has a very large insulating effect sound wise and is an old cycle manufactures method of meeting the EPA drive noise test. Also the convulted baffling in the air intake dampens the intake tract noise and lets the exhaust be a little louder. Anyway, I'm still thinking over adapting my SuperTrapp to the large head pipe and see what happens then, it needs some expansion room and cushioning to deepen the sound. The Savage cam design just will not let it sound like a single cylinder HD. Mine almost does have that HD gasping sound when idling cold, but at road speed, it is still a very close together rapp. I sure like to see a wide ratio gear box option, a lower low and 5th that was just idling along at 55. Still haven't found anything better, so keep adapting and changing making it more personal and fun to ride. Have some glass saddle bags that will get fitted this winter also found an old package rack in the garage of the place we bought last summer that looks like it can be adapted to replace the pillion seat and provide a decent place to carry stuff. I like running errands with mine and sometimes have to take the cage because of the size of the errand. But I'm getting by until the weather cloes down. Still high 60's by mid afternoon and I hate to not a "scooter ride fix" on those days. Keeps me smiling. Max
